A famous garden known as Hazuri bagh in between the iconic Badshahi Masjid and the great Lahore fort is the luckiest place where the Mazar of Allama Iqbal is situated. Pakistan Rangers are responsible for the guard duty. The structure of this Mazar is a clear picture of two cultures belongs from Moorish and Afghanistan a brother Islamic country. If you plane to make a trip at Mazar-e-Iqbal you will found two entrance gates (Eastern and Southern side). Now come to the inside of the Mazar. The inner side of the Mazar is decorated with marble. Our great leader was buried under the grave that is made of white marble and the calligraphy work of quranic verses are done on the gravestone. It’s just like that this great person; Shair-e-Mashraq and Mufaqar-e-Pakistanare buried under the umbrella of Quran’s versus. One more interesting thing is the stone, which used for the grave of Allama Iqbal is a gift from the people of the brotherhood Islamic country Afghanistan. Our great leader’s Mazar was designed by a Nawab whose name is Zain Yar Jang Bahadur. You also find Allama Iqbal’s poetry inside the Mazar written on the walls with great and attractive style. While in the Mazar for Fateha or just the visit you will feel that you are in a palace where blessings of Allah Almighty are falling all the time.
