Mohammad Ali Jinnah is one of those leaders who changed the course of history and geography at the same time and he was hailed by the Pakistani nation and at the international level at the same time. Born on December 25, 1876 in Kathiawar Gujrat, India, Jinnah had ancestors from Shia, Sunni, Ismaili, and Hindu origin. His father Jinnah Poonja (1857-1901) shifted to Karachi as his business was with Graham’ Shipping and Trading Company with its regional office in Karachi.
This house in Kharadar is called Wazir Mansion where Quaid-e- Azam (the Great Leader) spent his life. He was educated at Sindh Madrassa-tul-Islam and Christian Mission School. In 1893, he got admission in Lincoln’s Inn and was honored to be the youngest Bar-at-Law from India.
